Industry Mourns the Passing of Bob Pomeroy

GRAND PRARIE, Alta. — William (Bob) Robert Pomeroy, chairman and founder of Pomeroy Lodging, passed away on June 11, at the age of 72.

Pomeroy was a known trailblazer in the hospitality industry and, over the years, built a legacy that will continue to live on in his name. He spent more than 25 years in the hotel and hospitality industry as both an owner and operator and established the Pomeroy name as being one of the premier hotel groups in Western Canada.

A Celebration of life will be held on June 20 at 2 p.m. at the People’s Church (11850-108 St., Grande Prairie). As space is limited, please contact the family directly for details.
