A year since its launch, Choice Hotels International’s Clarion Pointe brand has three properties open and more than 40 hotels in its pipeline. Year-to-date, the midscale, select-service brand has awarded more than 20 Clarion Pointe franchise agreements.
Since opening its first location, the 72-room Clarion Pointe Sulphur Springs (Texas), this spring, the brand has opened two new locations: the 60-room Clarion Pointe Horn Lake (Miss.) and the 43-room Clarion Pointe Rochester (N.Y.) Monroe Avenue.
“The brand’s debut hotel has exceeded expectations with stellar guest satisfaction ratings,” Megan Brumagim, VP of brand management, design and compliance at Choice Hotels International, said in a statement. “With even more hotels expected to open by year-end, Clarion Pointe is clearly resonating with developers. We anticipate interest continuing to rise as we build on our track record of leadership and innovation in the midscale segment.”
Choice Hotels International anticipates having 16 Clarion Pointe hotels open by year-end, including ones in:
- Columbus, Ga.,
- Wake Forest, N.C.,
- Madison, Ala.,
- Huntsville, Ala.,
- Gatlinburg, Tenn., and
- Louisville, Ky.
