4 hotels open in New York

Four hotels have opened in New York recently, including Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts’ first in New York City, a fourth Manhattan property from Fortuna Realty Group and two in Upstate New York. Here’s everything to know.

* Formerly the Viceroy Central Park New York, the 240-room Le Méridien New York, Central Park includes a restaurant, rooftop lounge, upgraded fitness center and more than 1,000 square feet of meeting space. Additional renovation work is slated to finish in 2020. HEI Hotels & Resorts operates the hotel and is overseeing the renovation process.

* A little over a mile away, the 176-room Hotel Hendricks opened July 26. It joins owner/operator Fortuna Realty Group’s three other Manhattan hotels: Hotel Hugo, Hotel Henri and Hotel Hayden. It features a full-service restaurant, two rooftop bar concepts and a lobby bar. The hotel is a member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Lifestyle Collection.
