Stonehill sells share of Florida Hampton Inn & Suites

Direct hospitality lender Stonehill has sold its share of the 182-suite Hampton Inn & Suites Panama City Beach in Florida to Wesley and Donna Spruill. Innisfree Hotels, who built the hotel in partnership with Stonehill in 2017 and will continue to manage it, retained its ownership stake.

The beachfront hotel is located on the northern Florida Gulf Coast. It features a beachfront pool and hot tub, meeting space for up to 100 guests, a fitness center, a business center, a 24-hour shop and a guest laundry facility. Nearby attractions include Gulf World Marine Park, Shipwreck Island Park and Pier Park.

“Hunter quietly curated the offering of this property, leveraging strong affiliations with potential buyers to help procure the best possible outcome for the partnership,” Teague Hunter, president of Hunter Hotel Advisors, said in a statement.
