The Dalmar opens in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Marriott International’s new collection brand Tribute Portfolio announced the opening of The Dalmar in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Rising 25 stories, the hotel offers 209 guestrooms, including 33 suites, as well as several food-and-beverage offerings and 14,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor venue space.

On the hotel’s sixth floor, guests can relax on a landscaped sky deck with ocean and downtown views, take a dip in a 100-foot saline infinity pool or visit the Lobby Lounge and Bar for a specialty cocktail and, on the weekend, live music. The property offers a total of five F&B venues. The Dalmar’s signature restaurant The Terrace Grill serves American grill food. In the spring the hotel will open Sparrow, its rooftop bar on the 25th floor.

The Dalmar offers options for weddings, corporate events and social gatherings. Inside, it provides 9,000 square feet of indoor event space on its fourth and fifth floor, accommodating groups of between 10 and 300. Outside, the hotel’s venue space The Garden can host up to 200 guests.
